Learn hip-hop moves from Erin Corrigan, a dancer from the D.C.-based group, Culture Shock, which recently appeared on MTV's America's Best Dance Crew. The workshop will take place on Monday, October 20, noon-1 p.m., Delta Zeta Dance Studio.

There are four new stop signs at three locations on Lincoln Circle East. These stop signs, placed at cross walks, aid in controlling the 15 mph campus speed limit increasing pedestrian safety at the cross walks.

Norovirus is spread by coming in contact with contaminated surfaces, objects, people, or food. Symptoms of norovirus include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and cramping. Hand washing is essential in attempts to stop the spread of all noroviruses.

- Social work licensing exam preparatory class
The course is designed to address test-taking challenges faced by many deaf and hard of hearing individuals. It is a Professional Studies course for Gallaudet students and social work graduates and professionals who are deaf, hard of hearing, or hearing. - Undergraduate interpretation major

Delta Zeta will be participating in the annual walk, which will be held this year on Sunday, October 12 at Cabin John Regional Park in Potomac, Md. - Dissertation defense for Ms. Shilpa Hanumantha
Ms. Hanumantha, a Ph.D. candidate in clinical psychology, will defend her dissertation on Friday, October 10, 2-4 p.m., in the Lyceum, third floor, College Hall. The first 30 minutes of her dissertation defense are open to the Gallaudet community.
- Voter registration help at the Library
There may still be time to register to vote on November 4 (depending on your state's deadline). A librarian can help with completing a registration form or absentee ballot request and preparing it for mailing to the appropriate Board of Elections.
- SLCC dedication ceremony
Gallaudet held a ceremony on October 1 to officially dedicate the James Lee Sorenson Language and Communication Center in Mr. Sorenson's honor. Videos of the event, and planning and construction of the new building, are available for viewing. - Mid-semester faculty development workshops
