What is the role of women in the 90’s? Ophira Edut, author of Adios Barbie: Young Women Write About Body Image and Identity, a collection of essays by multicultural women on beauty, sexuality, and cultural roles, explored the topic of her book with a audience October 28 inEly Auditorium. Edut’s appearance was sponsored by the University Library.
Board of Trustees member and Congressman Ray LaHood (R-Ill) visited Gallaudet on November 5 and participated in a question and answer session with more than 30 Gallaudet and Pre-College students from Illinois.
